Give a Student the Gift of a Lifetime!
The Aquatech Society established a Scholarship Fund to
honor the memory of former Chairman, A.J. "Bud" Weisbrod. Since its inception
in 2005, the scholarship fund continues to celebrate, in Bud's honor, Aquatech's
commitment to education and encouragement of professional growth within the pool
industry.
It is the goal of the scholarship fund to award annual scholarships to selected
applicants for the furtherance of their education and professional goals.
The A.J. "Bud" Weisbrod Memorial Trust has changed the lives of many students
through the annual Scholarship Awards Program. Scholarships provided by
private contributions, in addition to business and industry, have enabled
students to make a difference in the communities they serve.
New Improvements
The A.J. "Bud" Weisbrod Memorial Scholarship has been enhanved to further spread
the gift of knowledge. Improvements that have been made to the scholarship
include:

Now accepting applications for first time college students,
re-entry adults, and Aquatech Member employees seeking professional knowledge through
Aquatech Institute workshops and events.
- Scholarship Awards amount
to no less than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
Important Dates
Scholarship Applications are generally accepted
during the fall of each year. The exact dates of when Aquatech will start
accepting submissions and the submission deadline will be posted to this page as
soon as the dates become available. Scholarship recipients are announced
at the Annual Society Conference held in January or February of each year.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for an A.J. "Bud" Weisbrod
Scholarship, applications must meet each of the following requirements:

Be the dependent of an owner of an Aquatech Member company, be a dependent of an
employee employeed more than two years by an Aquatech Member company, or be an
employee of two or more years by an Aquatech Member company.

Display scholastic and career achievement, character, and worthiness.

Complete the required application to send to Aquatech along with additional
required materials prior to the scholarship submissions deadline.
